This is leather pad for watch leather strap of Accurate Form.

Designed with a focus on protecting your watch from sweat and scratches, this base features a subtle, understated design. However, the loop of the base adds a stylish accent, making it an interesting item to mix and match with different materials and colors.

Until now, the base had been available only through made-to-order requests. However, by offering multiple size variations like clothing, we have made it possible to purchase a perfectly fitting base for your watch at an affordable price. It shares the same specifications as our regular leather straps, and in addition to different sizes, it is available in several key colors, ensuring a cohesive look even when purchased separately later on.

Even stainless steel watches can corrode due to sweat and dirt, especially in areas like the inside of the lugs and the gap between the case and case back. Many people hesitate to wear their watches in hot weather, whether they have a snap-back or a screw-back case. Additionally, this base helps prevent scratches on the case back. When storing your watch in a case, you can remove the strap from the base on the buckle side, allowing for compact storage by folding it. By attaching this base, you not only address these issues but also introduce a new way to showcase leather straps.

Since the base prevents direct contact between the watch and your wrist, it enhances wearing comfort. It is also highly recommended for individuals with metal allergies.

BULGARO is a high-quality, smooth-textured standard shoulder leather crafted by the Italian tannery Conceria Lo Stivale. While the leather is relatively firm, it is well-infused with oil, giving it a balanced feel—structured yet supple.

The grain surface is fine and smooth, with natural color variations due to its dye finish. Physically, it is vegetable-tanned, dye-finished, and made using the traditional Vacchetta method, which ensures deep oil penetration. As a result, the leather develops a rich patina over time, gaining a natural luster and character with use.

Additionally, BULGARO is highly suitable for edge polishing, making it an excellent choice for crafting refined leather goods.

Lo Stivale is a renowned Italian tannery founded in 1958 in Santa Croce, Tuscany, where it has been producing high-quality leather using traditional techniques for decades.

As a member of the Italian Vegetable-Tanned Leather Consortium, the tannery strictly adheres to the association’s manifesto, preserving traditional craftsmanship while continuing to supply premium vegetable-tanned leather worldwide.

Lo Stivale’s leather is crafted using Tuscany’s traditional Vacchetta tanning method, which gives it a rich, warm feel and a soft, supple touch. Over time, the leather develops a beautiful patina, gradually deepening in color and enhancing its natural luster, allowing users to enjoy its unique aging process.

Choosing the Right Base for Your Watch

① If You Want to Minimize the Appearance of the Base:

• Select a size smaller than your watch – The base will still function effectively for sweat and scratch protection, even if it's slightly smaller.
• Choose a base where the loop distance is 2–3mm smaller than the lug-to-lug distance of your watch – Even if the base appears to overlap on a flat surface, it will not overlap when worn.

② If You Want the Base to Be Slightly Visible:

• For sports watches or if you want the base to have a subtle presence, select a base that is the same size as your watch’s diameter or slightly larger.
