It is made from Japanese domestic goatskin, commonly known as "Chari leather."
It has a unique and beautiful grain on the surface, and is characterized by its dense, hard fibers, elasticity, and abrasion resistance.

■ What is Chari Leather?
This leather was manufactured under the guidance of Charles Hennicle, a leading American leather engineer, and is said to have been introduced to Japan in the early Meiji period when engineers were invited from overseas to receive instruction in order to improve Japan's leather manufacturing techniques. Called "Chari leather" after Charles' nickname, Charlie, it is made by kneading thin, tanned leather until it becomes soft, and was used as a material for bags. It is also a rare leather unique to Japan that is repeatedly kneaded by hand vertically, horizontally, and diagonally, creating deep irregularities on the surface, and is used in luxury brands and leather painting.

The stitching is done with antique-style sinew thread. Available in honey, black,You can choose from brown.
Sinew thread was originally made from the tendons of deer and other animals, but today it is made by bundling thin fibers such as nylon into a single thread. As you use it, the color will fade and it will become whitish. Sinew thread is characterized by its natural color.
