20/16mm means 20mm on the lug side and 16mm on the buckle side. The lug side is the end attached to the watch case, and the buckle side is the end attached to the buckle.

■What is Himeji KUROZAN leather ?
Himeji Kurozan Leather is a premium leather crafted by combining traditional Japanese tanning techniques with lacquer coating technology. Known as the "Black Diamond of Leather," Kurozan Leather exhibits a mesmerizing shine, resembling countless tiny diamond-like particles scattered across its surface.
This leather is exceptionally durable and resistant to friction, making it a preferred material for kendo armor (dō-mune) and other martial arts equipment. Historically, it was also used for samurai armor worn by high-ranking commanders during the Sengoku period.
A masterpiece born from two essential techniques—the art of tanning that enhances the natural beauty of leather and the precise lacquer coating that maximizes the elegance of the grain surface—Himeji Kurozan Leather stands as a true work of craftsmanship.
Types of Kurozan Leather Grain Patterns
Kurozan Leather comes in three grain variations:
- Embossed (Kataoshi)
- Hand-Rubbed Premium Kurozan (Gokujou Kurozan)
- Ultimate KIWAMI (KIWAMI)
The leather used in this product is Embossed Kurozan, which features a fine and uniform grain, making it an ideal choice for watch straps. Even with the Embossed finish, the material cost is several times higher than that of standard cowhide leather.
