Accurate Form uses Horween Chromexcel.Chromexcel, manufactured by Horween in the United States for use as uppers for work boots and other footwear, is currently produced in 10 colors. The natural color makes it a perfect match for antique watches.
Chromexcel is cowhide leather, tanned with a combination of chrome and tannin. It is rich in four types of oils and fats, giving it both durability and flexibility. It feels a little different from other cowhides. The more you use it, the deeper the flavor becomes. One of the characteristics of Chromexcel is that it "discolors." If you pinch and bend it, the color will change slightly. If you return it to its original state and allow the surface to blend, the color will almost return to its original state. When you wear it on your arm, the shading appears and it looks very cool.
Also, in Accurate FormThe same material is used for the backing, and the strap is made with a luxurious Musou style. Most watch straps use different materials for the front and back, mainly due to cost and manufacturing considerations. Accurate Form uses Musou style to maximize the quality of Chromexcel, allowing you to enjoy the solid leather texture. It has an outstanding feel, so we recommend you try it out.
Over time, the strap will become uniquely yours. We hope you enjoy wearing it with your watch.
